Fall

Summertime gone

We bid ado

Farewell to the season

We most recently knew.

An explosion of colors

So striking – so bold

Crimson and orange

A sight to behold

Air – crisp and clean

Energy anew

My spirit takes flight

Anticipation ensues.

Another season

Another reason

To feel reborn

Waiting in the wings a bright new morn

Out in the orchards apples hang from the trees

Ripe for the picking

Smiling faces to please.

Hayrides and cider

Just hit the spot

Bringing joy to the masses

Both gown folks and tots

So here’s to a season to be embraced by all

A true wonder of Mother Nature

This season called fall.

    Dear Mr. Rosalez,

If your poetry is chosen for publication, you will receive an e-mail with the scheduled date of publication. We reserve the right to correct spelling and punctuation. Our aim is to stay true to the author’s voice. An attachment will be included with your scheduled date of publication that shows how your content will look when it is published. The author and title format may be viewed by looking at our website. It is our mission to discover and publish new authors and poets. Please read the submission guidelines. In general, our turn around time is 1-4 weeks depending on the number and quality of submissions received. If you send in three poems, all three could be published or maybe one. It depends on the quality of your work. We work with authors as much as possible. I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions.

    Sincerely,

    Laurie Boykin, editor
