Moving Around

Traveling cross country
Didn’t have a choice but to follow
Soaking up the visuals of scenery
Having to start over fresh
Scared and intrigued at what might follow
Ended up in the land of corn
Thought it was settled
Once more traveling cross country
Having to share a family
Horrified of the rebirth of my life again
Circumstances are up in the air
Reside in the land of stars
Friends you will miss
Moments that are somewhere else
Smiles that were left
Pieces of me lost
Pieces of me Found
Covered all of this ground
Now confused on where to settle down
