Pebble in the Wind

I swore one night—I said pebbles in the wind

They were different colors like the rainbow

That night it rained a bucket

It was ice cold

I stood there in my yellow rain coat

In a daze

But I swore that I said pebbles in the wind

All the worms and a snail came out to play

I wish that I could ride my bicycle

I waited for my friend to come out and play

I swore that I said pebbles in the wind

The sun came out finally—I  looked up and smiled

I guess the pebbles in the wind finally disappeared.
